    Hi I'm not that hot with Javascript, in fact I would say Im freezing, but found that I needed to use it with this particular Client.
    The trouble is that the mousover script works well in all the other browsers but not in Internet Explorer:

    <div id="butone">
    <a href="index.html"><input name="HoverButton1" type="image" id="HoverButton1" onmouseover="this.src='img/button_one_hover.jpg';" onmouseout="this.src='img/button_one.jpg';" src="img/button_one.jpg" alt="Home" /></a>
    </div>

    Is there a hack for this problems, I've looked on the web and found nothing, well nothing that makes any sense to me.
    Here is a link to the site: http://www.futurityltd.co.nz.
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Alart

    Which version of IE are you testing this in?

    It works fine for me (IE7) but be aware, there is a tiny delay when you first mouseover the buttons as the browser has to fetch the image, but we are talking less than a second (for me anyway).

    Slightly off topic, to test how well your page renders in multiple IE browsers, look at http://www.my-debugbar.com/wiki/IETester/HomePage

    Hi Andrew
    Really?? I'm getting nothing, I've tried also on another PC and there is no link at all. Thanks for the IE tester link I'm downloading it now. Like you, I have IE7.

    What do you mean there is no link? Try doing a refresh (Hold Ctrl and Press F5). Perhaps you have a cached version of your page.

    aha!! sorted the problem, instead of an input' tag, I tried and 'img' so instead of:

    <div id="butone">
    <a href="index.html"><input name="HoverButton1" type="image" id="HoverButton1" onmouseover="this.src='img/button_one_hover.jpg';" onmouseout="this.src='img/button_one.jpg';" src="img/button_one.jpg" alt="Home" /></a>
    </div>

    I have changes it to:

    <div id="butone">
    <a href="index.html">
    <img src="img/button_one.jpg" onmouseover="this.src='img/button_one_hover.jpg';" onmouseout="this.src='img/button_one.jpg';" alt="Home" border="0" />
    </a>
    </div>

    Thanks for your help Andrew

    Ah, now I understand.

    Not sure why, the HTML looks good to go.

    Maybe try adding an onclick to the image to go to the file.

    [html]
    <div id="butone">
    <a href="index.html"><input name="HoverButton1" type="image" id="HoverButton1" onmouseover="this.src='img/button_one_hover.jpg';" onmouseout="this.src='img/button_one.jpg';" src="img/button_one.jpg" alt="Home" onclick="javascript:location.href='index.html';" /></a>
    </div>

    Edit: Oops, I missed that. Glad you got it sorted.
