    Is it possible?!

For instance, say if I wanted to load up a page into a <div> tag rather than use an iframe to do it, is it possible.

Basically, replace the iframe with a div tag but still have that div tag function as an iframe?

    Merci

    Regards,
    Chris

Although Brak provided help on this matter that I will forever be indebted to. Is there anyone else could offer help such as Brak has offered?

The only way to load a NEW page into a div is to buffer it through a hidden iframe, capture the content as it loads, and move it into the div. It's not easy.

you could have more than 1 div then set the display to none, show 1, use some server side includes to put it into the divs and use some javascript to swap them...

    does that make sense?

I would say use PHP/ASP/SSI, it's sooo much easier on the server end to do that.

That's not what he's asking, though.... he wants to keep the page from refreshing, i believe. I think JR's solution is a good one, though. Sounds good to me, anyway :-P

Yes it can be done the way jr suggested. Here's an u/l attempt at it.

I'm sorry you took such offense to my reply. You asked if it was possible, and that's exactly what I answered. A lot of times people just want to know if something's possible then do the neccesary research to complete the project...

I was assuming you meant just using a scrolling div which can be seen on about a billion example sites... You can load up information in the divs as jr suggested (includes) and then swap their visability through CSS/javascript. Or, you can have a different page for each page with different content in the div (suggested for SE reasons).
