    Guys,

    I'm going to be launching a free OS form-making toolkit for PHP and Javascript soon.

    It uses a simple OO architecture to create forms that have very slick JS functions for validation, confirmation, etc.

    I just added an awesome info window function to it. (See here - click on the "Email" field: http://www.wewash.com/register.php)

    So what do you guys think? Dig the concept? If so, let me know and I'll wrap up an OS version and post it soon!

    Looks good.

    Does it just create the form or does it create any processing code behind it?

    Can the forms it generates be customised?

    OS = Open Source

    This project only generates the forms, but we're also working on another project (Archetype) that will tie a data access layer into the forms as well as other UI components in order to do super-duper rapid development (I mean SUPER-duper rapid).

    When you say "customized" I assume you mean the way they look? Right now, it's pretty much function-based, so you only generate one input at a time. I may have it generate the whole form and add a simple templating system, but that will probably be phase 2 when I integrate Archetype into it.

    Yeah I mean how they look. Can this tool create any type of form element? Can you automatically produce style rules for them? Valid XHTML produced?
