    i'm not sure if java is used for this 1 so it cud be in the wrong forum, OK here is wat i want i've a seen few sites when you click rigth or froum the top browser u hit view source theres nothing in it or just copy right and it also takes some note of your ip address. i need that code

    i think i explained correctly wat i'm looking for and hopefully 1 of you will be able to help me out with this

    it's impossible to hide the source code of a website.

    the ip address can only be obtained from server-side scripts.

    If you search the forum you'll find a discussion on this topic. Basically, you can hide the code so your local surfer can't see it, but if someone really wants the source code, they'll get it. That's why server side languages, i.e. PHP, are great.

    you can disable right click which stops some people.
    but ofcoarse most users would just go to view > source.

    Here is the thread that went on at great lenghts about hiding source code. You can make it very difficult, but not impossible, because if you're browser sees the HTML, you can see it one way or another.
