    Hi guys,

    I'm a 16 year old student who needs urgent help with my website design for my school assignment.

    I'm trying to recreate a scrolling background animation like the one found in the portfolio website: Who is Leon

    From the tutorials online, I haven't gotten it to work. The coding I have so far (excluding main content, etc) is:

    The CSS of the Background/Body that I want to move:
    Code:
    body  {
    	font: 100% Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    	background: #666666;
    	margin: 0; /* it's good practice to zero the margin and padding of the body element to account for differing browser defaults */
    	padding: 0;
    	text-align: center; /* this centers the container in IE 5* browsers. The text is then set to the left aligned default in the #container selector */
    	color: #000000;
    	background-image: url(cloudbg_copy.jpg);
    	background-repeat: no-repeat;
    	margin-left: 0px;
    	margin-right: 0px;
    	margin-top: 0px;
    	margin-bottom: 0px;
    	background-color: #F1E8CB;
    }
    The URL for the image works, I've just removed it here because I'm changing the picture.

    My Javascript/JQuery files that I'm using are:
    Code:
    <script src="http://static.tumblr.com/hlhgbom/2fIlb1ogf/sprycollapsiblepanel.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <link href="http://static.tumblr.com/hlhgbom/Xcmlb1ohd/sprycollapsiblepanel.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
    <script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.4.3.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script src="http://static.tumblr.com/hlhgbom/pk4lbfs0d/jquery.bgscroll.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    So, could anyone help me make the background scroll?
    Perhaps just tell me what I need to add/change in order for the script to kick in and scroll my background for me.

    VERY much appreciated,
    Stressful student.

    idk if i would do it the way they did. use the concept in a better way. that page was Very data heavy. try flash.

    while($get_it !== true){ continue; }

    How would you set it up to scroll across?

    I tried flash, but the whole file was 42mb from just scrolling the background image across.

    the flash file would be bigger but runs more efficiently so it would cause the page to be as jumpy. what they have may be flash, not sure, but it's tied to page position and thats what drags it down.

    while($get_it !== true){ continue; }
