    Just wondering…?and I’m somewhat of a novice at Javascript.
    Is there a way of changing not only the graphics with a mouseover but… changing the text of a page section sorta like turning the page in a book.

    Thanks

    Using jQuery fadeIn and fadeOut, yes.

    That should get you on your way. Play with that for a while.

    All though I do appreciate the response, thats a bit more complicated that what I'm looking for!

    The button is mouse over or mouse out, one image or fades out and another fades in depending on what button it is. On click the image stays for a time limit then goes back to an original image

    I'm not sure what to tell you, other than jQuery can do exactly that. I haven't used it for mouseovers specifically, but I have used the fade in and fade out here. My needs are more complex than yours, though.

    Sorry for the bad news, but you are far better off using JQuery. It's really not that hard to implement either.

    Here is the first page on google for Jquery text fade

    Thanks

    You could use setTimeout.

    That's wonderful but... how do I add to this...

    $('.2222').click(function() {
    $('#original').fadeOut(300, function() {
    var the_text = $('#2222').html();
    $(this).html(the_text).fadeIn(300);
    });
    });
    Thanks

    In this case, you'd use delay.
    Code:
    $(this).html(the_text).delay(1000).fadeIn(300);

    Code:
    $(this).html(the_text).delay(1000).fadeIn(300);
    All this does is delay the text on fadin for 1000 then fadein at 300.
    I would like to fadein at 300 to "original" delay 6000 after the fadein of "2222".
    thanks
