    I am trying to create a simple website
    with 4 images that would change independently on there if you click one of the images
    it would be great if it could be a tumblr site or wordpress.
    but I cant find anything like this
    and not sure how to build it.
    it would have to be code I could use or easily modify. as I cant write java

    HTML is pretty basic ( it's a tagging language ).... CSS and Xhtml are pretty easy and your concept seems simple enough....

    You could accomplish this is JAVA... but why ?

    Take a look at some basic HTML turorials... and when you get a grasp of that... start looking at some CSS examples and see how they integrate into your basic HTML structure...

    http://w3schools.com is a good place to start...

    Have fun !!!

    Here's the HTML part:
    Code:
    <table cellspacing="5">
        <tr>
            <td><a href="http://www.wordpress.com" target="_blank"><img id='img1' src="http://www.prelovac.com/vladimir/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/wordpress-logo.png" alt="" /></a></td>
            <td><a href="http://www.tumblr.com/" target="_blank"><img id='img2' src="http://iwantmyname.com/images/logo-blog-tumblr.png" alt="" /></a></td>
        </tr>
        <tr>
            <td><a href="http://www.twitter.com" target="_blank"><img id='img3' src="http://www.weswareonline.com/promotion_images/Twitter-Buttons-46-94-.png" alt="" /></a></td>
            <td><a href="http://www.facebook.com" target="_blank"><img id='img4' src="http://diymusician.cdbaby.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/facebook-1.png" alt="" /></a></td>
        </tr>
    </table>
    Now whip up an easy little JavaScript. I'll let someone else contribute that one for right now. collaboration.
