    Hi All,

Just finally got a really simple animation to work...I don't have it up yet, but when I do I'll post the link. I just wanted to confirm a suspicion that I thought might be helpful to others getting into this.

I have a centered div container which will hold all the content of my page. I want the title of the page and icon to appear centered vertically on the left side of the container, then move up to the top left corner before the menu appears. Pretty simple. I could not get the % of movement to work for the life of me. The div containing the title and icon are nested inside the div that defines the centered container, and are '45%' from the top of the container.

Am I right in saying that specifying a % in JQuery (ie. $("#titleblock").animate({top:'2%'},1500); ) is actually saying "The whole container from top to bottom is equal to 100%, therefore 2% is close to the upper left hand corner"?? This had me really confused, but that's what ended up working.

    Just wondering =D
