    Hey Guys,

I am trying out this lightweight image rotator: http://www.alohatechsupport.net/webd...e_rotator.html

However, it isn't working. There is a problem with the .js file. Dreamweaver tells me there is a problem with line 7 of the .js file (admittedly taken with a pinch of salt). Being a javascript nooby myself I have no idea what the problem.

Any of those keenly trained eyes have any idea what the solution could be?

    Many Thanks!
    Ali

P.S. If you need more information, plase let me know!

Sounds like you are using the javascript as an external .js file. (good for you - I don't like to see scripts in the HTML if it can be avoided)
If so, get rid of the opening and closing <script type="text/javascript">....</script> tags - they are only needed if you are putting the javascript in the <head> of your HTML document. Do this in Dreamweaver in code view and you should see the error go away.

    Hi AlphaMare,

Thanks for the help. Did what you said but still doesn't seem to have fixed the problem.

I've put the site live for you so that you can see what's going on. Hopefully with seeing it you may be able to find the rest of the problems.

Hi - I've been out of town - sorry to take so long to respond.

You are using the rotator in a WordPress site - have you added it to your theme as a plugin or just added it to the page code in the PHP?

I'm not sure how to fix this - and I'm going in for dental surgery tomorrow, so I'll be out of commission for a few days.

I'll play with it when I can and get back to you if I figure it out.
