    Need help with jsf

    Hello all,
Here's the thing, my friend gave me a website to tinker with
The home page when you access the site [index/homepage] is
    Alas Door to Door Cargo
I only got access to ftp adress...
I got basic knowledge on making a website

at first i wondered home.jsf? what the heck is that and how do i edit that stuff.
I went through the ftp and found no file named home.jsf so i got lost...
Then i researched stuff and learned jsf was javaserver faces, so i searched again on how would i modify the website, i found out i can make jsf files through eclipse and went ahead to download one luckily me i also found a ftp plugin. now i'm currently lost on how to start modifying/editing the website

    1. Where to start... Tuts/guides on editing jsf files then uploading it on the net to modify the said website
    2. Is it possible to edit the said file?
    3. Where do i edit the said index/home file? [i only got the ftp server access] so incase i get tired of the bs jsf i'll go make .html

oh and if theres a good guy/girl out there who has free time can i add some contacts for faster communication? thanks in advance

I looked at the site, and as a designer, I advise you to start from scratch and do a complete redesign. (Is that a real company with that name?)

If this project is for real, I'd go straight to a redesign in HTML/CSS, and strat to learn javascript and some server-side languuage (PHP comes to ind) so that you can maintian the functionality of the site.

JavaServer Faces in not really for designing web pages - it is a Java specification for building component-based user interfaces for web applications - in other words, probably way, WAY beyond what you can do with your basic knowledge.
