Question Hello pros, is this true? Please Get this newbee started

    Hello,
I just started learning web development. I have learned the basics of JavaScript and jquery. I have a health website and want to make a simple tool to tell women when their fertile days based on their last period date. Example is like this Ovulation Calculator | Tools | BabyCenter

I have the basics, but just want to figure out how to even start

    Please some quick question
    1. I read that tools produced with JavaScript or jquery will not work when JavaScript is turned off in the users Browser. How do I ensure everyone has access without having to first turn on JavaScript? Can I produce such a tool without JavaScript?

    2. I want to display the final days on a calendar. Eg if her fertile days are from 12/12/2013 to 12/16/2013, I want to display it also on a caller to be more visually appealing. Where do I even start??

    3. Are there any plugins, or similar things that might be helpful to me in this project?

Thank you guys, will appreciate your input
    Patrick

The answer to all of your questions is the same: you'll need to learn a server-side programming language such as PHP or ASP.NET or classic ASP to do them. ASP.net has a Calendar control that may help you:

    ASP.NET Calendar Control

And the rest would spin out from there.

I believe there's something similar for PHP. A calendar can also be constructed using classic ASP but you'd have to do it from scratch.
