    javascript problems?

I'm working on implementing a website design, not of my own doing. It calls for using a lightbox type code for screenshot popups. I have tried everything and nothing seems to work within the design constraints.

Is it possible that the header (javascript control of navbar) is conflicting with the javascript lightbox code (I've tried Lightbox, Pretty Photo and the popup control in Xara Designer Pro X9)? If the popups work, the navbar doesn't. If the navbar works, the popups don't...in any of the scripts I've tried.

Somebody please point me in the right direction. I'm not an expert but I can handle css, html and simpler php but I'm totally lost when it comes to javascript.

It's possible, but we have no way of knowing without looking at it.

One thing to try: if you're developing locally, make sure you're using some kind of server software. That, or upload to a server somewhere. Javascript gets a little wonky when you try to run straight from a file instead of through a server.

Yes, I have both WAMP (unsatisfactory for this application) and I have it on a test server/domain I own.

    Welcome to Forward Chess

I did manage to get this incarnation working BUT both the header and content are about 25% smaller than they should be. (check home page to see the correct sizing) Only resizing done with screenshots was for the images themselves
