    Ah, yes - while on the topic - if there a protocol for changing the cell properties, namely background colour, when a mouse is over?

    For example, a cell with white background, changing to black whne the mouse is over.

    I know how to use image rollovers - it's the simple color issue I'm looking at.

    Cheers

    Great stuff, but oops - forgot to ask for what's needed to change text colour.

    I tried

    onmouseout="this.style.fontColor

    but it didn't appear to work.

    It's darn strange that - I've tried using common sense for the text colour command - the white text on a black bg first, but when mouseover, text and bg are both white!?

    This is what I'm using. Syntax error? Missing comma? Can't figure -

    <TR><TD WIDTH="24%" VALIGN="TOP" HEIGHT=27 BGCOLOR="#000000" onmouseover="this.style.backgroundColor='#FFFFFF'; " onmouseout="this.style.backgroundColor='#000000';" >

    <B><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE=2 COLOR="#000000" onmouseover="this.style.fontColor='#000000';"
    onmouseout="this.style.fontColor='#ffffff';"><P ALIGN="CENTER">contact us</B></FONT></TD>
    </TR>

    Sincere thanks for replies - still learning,

    Brian

    	  <B>
          <FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE=2 COLOR="#FFFFFF" style="cursor: hand" onmouseover="this.style.color='#FF0000';" onmouseout="this.style.color='#ffffff';">

    	  </FONT>
