i am pretty sure it can be done, and am about to try it.

but before i do, i would like to know what other approaches people have taken on the board in order to be able to navigate a website based on the one parent html which, using javascript in my case, would on click of link within parent html load an external html file into an existing and predefined (width, height, etc.) div also in the parent html.

i've done frames...but purely for the sake of trying something else want to do it this way....

there's talk about SSi using PHP etc....any info would be appreciated thanks

It can only be done using an iframe as a buffer.

It has been discussed here: http://www.webdesignforums.net/showt...=iframe+buffer
