    is it possible to have an iframe which slowly expands in height when a link is clicked then the page is displayed in the iframe after it has finished enlarging?

    like this effect

    <META http-equiv="Page-Enter" CONTENT="RevealTrans(Duration=2,Transition=5)">

    thanks

    You could try some Javascript. Untested:

    Code:
    <iframe id="myif" src="..." style="width:300px; height:200px"></iframe>
    Then to expand it vertically
    Code:
    for (i = 200; i < 500; i++)
    {
        document.myif.style.height = i + "px";
    }
    That's IE-only and also will be a different speed depending on the user's computer's speed.

    sorry i know hardly any javascript,

    it gave me this error

    document.myif.style is null or not an object etc.

    i put the 2nd part of the code in the head and the 1st part in the body is this right?

    what would i put in the link to make the iframe larger?

    ok if this is not possible how about putting the iframe in a table and have the table slowly expand from say 0px to 350px in height?

    Make sure that the Javascript is after the iframe's declaration.

    it gives me the same error,

    is the code meant to be like this?

    <html>
    <head>
    </head>
    <body>
    <iframe id="myif" src="main.htm" style="width:300px; height:200px"></iframe>
    <script language="JavaScript">
    for (i = 200; i < 500; i++)
    {
    document.myif.style.height = i + "px";
    }
    </script>
    </body>
    </html>
    what is meant to happen here?

    thanks for the help anyway.

    Strange, that looks right. Try this:
    Code:
    <iframe id="myif" name="myif" ...>
    .
    .
    .
    document.all['myif']...
