Use Fireboard for the Forum, Community Builder for the community features and JoomGallery for the gallery in Joomla 1.5.8.

JoomGallery is good as its simple and easy to use. With regards to forums I would advice on using an indepedent software rather than using a forum integrated into Joomla like Fireboard. I find it better and more usable if the forum opens in a full page.
