I have enabled the Home page in my main menu.

    Front Page Blog Layout.PNG

I do not want to display the Title so I have set it to No. But this leaves a blank area where the Title would have gone:

    blank.PNG

    Page Title.PNG

How do I remove this altogether?

Thanks in advance for any help

The background will be part of the CSS file so it will be a standard feature on every page, you need to find the right CSS file usually template.css or joomla.css and remove it completely, hope this helps

A homepage address would be very useful in this case.
I normally set the .componentheading from template.css invisible make its margins 0 and/or set its visibility hidden.

I can say that you have poorly developed template, because removing the name it should not have to stay the blank area. I agree with guys that you can remove it in .css file
