I have stepped up to the challenge, having never worked in web design, of creating a basic website using Dreamweaver CS5 for my oranization. The site is almost complete but the board members want the Members page password protected. Obviously I have no idea how to do that so I thought I would ask the reach out to the experts. Is this something offered by my web hosting company or do I need to do it? Any help or direction is very much appreciated, thanks.

It all depends on the server, but assuming you using shared hosting, you have a couple of options.

1 . Use you hosting control panel to set a username and password on the server.

    2. Setup a simple login page ( search these forums for plent of examples )

    3. Setup a MySQL DB and some php scripts to manage use logins.
