I am trying to dump or pipe two columns from my table(username and password) to a text file so i can print out all the usernames and passwords? What is the easiest way to do this?

Also what is the command to view all active connections to MYSQL?
    THanks.

    1. SELECT ... INTO OUTFILE "filename".
    2. mysqladmin processlist, or mysqladmin extended-status to get more information than you ever wanted to know.

awesome both suggestion worked excellent. One more question.
In the mysqladmin extended-status which one is the number of current open connections?

Basically I'm just trying to see if i am leaving any connections open in my code. Thanks
