    I have a problem that a server I'm working on probably has set default charset in apache httpd.conf that I don't have access to.
    I was wondering how can I change that for my scripts if ordinary

    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
    doesn't work.
    I was thinking of maybe some .htaccess or some function I don't know about.
    Please, help!

    No, i didn't find any answers there for I can't install anything on that server.
    But, i've found some answers on http://www.w3.org/International/ques...access-charset
    but still not enough for I use php and this is solution for html - it doesn't work well for php, text gets sparsed all over the screen.

    Now it does.My mistake.

    <?php
    header('Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1');
    ?>
