About LinkBacksOkay, I have this Chat Box Program, Oxyshout...
Anyway, I'm trying to work out how to have a simple password box, so that when certain people with a password, type in there password. depending on what the password is, I would like to have a certain Icon to appear by the persons name. If you know what I mean.

have the icon be the same as the password then when you post the image have it be... ./img/icons/$pass.gif..

Beware that that will only work for mostly alphanumeric passwords, though.

if it doesnt work try this...
echo "<img src=./img/icons/".$password.".gif >";

Passwords like "my/password" will reference directories, "my password" will make filenames with spaces, "my+password" will load the file "my password.gif" instead, etc.

yeah, i knew that.... i just assumed that some boundries would be setup to stop the creation of passwords likethat. but yeah, i know what you're saying now.
