    ok this may seem simple to many of you but i got these php templates that i downloaded and i'm looking at them in dreamweaver and when i open them in design mode or in a browser all i see is a bunch of codes and writing that makes no sence.
    please help me!

    You can't view PHP code in the same way as you can HTML. If you just open them in IE/Moz the browser doesn't know what to do and outputs plain text. You need to setup your PC as a server or upload to an existing server where the pages can be correctly parsed and the PHP executed.

    A very common server for PHP is Apache and is usually installed with mySQL. If you're feeling brave take a look at PHPTriad at http://sourceforge.net; it's fairly straight forward to install but can be a bit daunting if you're new to it.
