    Hi,
    can you pass values through GET to includes?

    for example
    PHP Code:
    include(www.something.com/something.six?thing=value
    then the something.six would use the value in the script.

    this is for a double backend system for my project "SiX". I need the SiX engine to pass information to app programs. the app programs could be any language (asp, jsp, php)

    Yep. Gotta include http thought. When you include that it includes the results of the script, not the code of the script.

    The question is Why?

    The variables in your main script are still available to the include. For example

    main file
    Code:
    <?php
    $text = "Hello World";
    include('otherfile.php');
    ?>
    Other file
    Code:
    <?php
    echo $text;
    ?>
    Output "Helo World".
