    hi

    i am newbie in coding..

    i just know how to connect database.. how to display data but i dont know how to show specific data and how to divide them in multiple pages..

    can any one teach me in simpler style?

    Here is a good example - http://www.phpfreaks.com/tutorials/43/1.php

    The steps are

    1: extract the first x rows (for the first page)
    2: produce the pagination links (page 1, page2, next/previous etc)
    3: determine a way of knowing what page the user is on (appending the url, ?page=3)

    Finally, when using [minicode]SELECT[/minicode], look for the [minicode]LIMIT[/minicode] clause to only return certain ranges of rows.

    Yep, better to limit it in the mysql then return all rows and only showing x per page.
