    how do i pass values from a form to store in a text file?

    form is html.. simple variables.. 4 text input boxes (first name, last name, phone, and email)

    You have to include some code at the top, that retrieves the POST variables.
    If your form action is set to "somepage.php", and one of your fields is named "example", then you retrieve that variable:


    somepage.php:

    $myVar $_POST['example'];
    //filepointer code here
    fwrite($fp$myVar );
