    I have taught myself php but have never understood how formatting the date works. I have called the date from my db. This brings back

    2006-11-24 13:33:52

    How would i change this into

    24-11-2006 13:33

    Currently all my script contains is a slightly more complicated version of this.

    Code:
    $postdate = $row['postdate']
    <div>$title</div> <div>$postdate</div>
    Help on this would be much appreciated

    Convert it to a UNIX timestamp via [phpfunction]strtotime[/phpfunction], then format it as you want using [phpfunction]date[/phpfunction].
