    i have a news page for .. press releases etc.. and i was wondering what would be the easiest way to update it all the time? its in html... but can i create a database and do a p hp include? someone help get me started on this?

    Some kind of content management script.
    Easiest to find something that already exists and customize it.

    A couple of questions though....

    How many news items?
    How often are they updated?
    Are they your own, or from another news source?

    If they are from another source, use RSS (XML) feeds to update
    your site automatically (sit back and no need to update anything).

    In any of those cases, PHP is what you would use.
