    in *nix you can schedule jobs using cron. Can you do the same in windows using the scheduler, say, to lunch a php script(web-page, whatever) once per day. if so, how?
    I cannot self terminate, you must lower me into the fire.

    Yes; if you know how to use the scheduler (I never use it so I don't know), just make it run the executable for (in this case, I'm assuming) the PHP with an argument of the full path/filename of the PHP script.
