I have a problem, there is not a php.ini file. I'm running mac OSX. I believe is suposed to be in /usr/local/bin but it only goes as far as /usr/local/ there is no bin.

I read somwhere that I can make a new one, I dont know how to go about this.
And also, can anyone tell me why there isnt a php.ini file to begin with?

    Thanx..

try searching for one. The default location on linux based systems is /usr/local/lib/php.ini

    php.ini-dist is the file.
you have to edit it and then rename it to php.ini and stick witht eh rest of your .ini files. C:\Windows for win9X users..
