I can do PHP and CGI, if anyone knows of one please post it here. Here's a template of the front page I am doing > http://www.boinkin.com/Paintball

I was thinking Agora, but if anyone knows of another one, please post it here.

I've checked all the sites (hotscripts, index, ect) but there are so many of them and a lot of them cost money. Kinda going for a freeware one ... please.

    THANKS IN ADVANCE!

I think shopping carts are a great idea but dont you need to have some info on your bank or something.

To be honest i dont have a clue how it all works,

for example if you have had someone order something and the money has gone through, how will you know that he/she has ordered it. Do you get an e-mail?

I was told you need information about your account,
    Sounds to hard for me.

Someone please explain, as i would like to sell shirts on a new site i am designing and obviously it would be more pro then just asking them to send a cheque.

    Cheers guys

You need to learn about Merchant accounts. Check out authorize.net. It may be a bit deep at first, but stick with it. OSCommerce integrates directly with it. It also integrates with paypal.

My ecommerce merchant services are through Authorise.net. I am about to start with with it, and integrate the shopping cart into our shops site, www.e-emotorsports.com . I have no clue what to do, but I'll find out, then I'll let ya'll know.

Good Luck! You are about to embark on the single most difficult thing I have ever tried to do with web hosting. As long as your shopping-cart/e-commerce program integrates with Authorize.net and all of the required elements are installed on your web hosting server, you should have no problems. :classic:

Yeah, I would go with OsCommerce as well. It's pretty customizeable.
