    Belay that. I put it on another server and it is coming through okay now - must not have been allowed on that server I had it on.

    Another thing though - When you send the message it goes to another screen to display the result "Thank you I'll get back to you" or whatever. How can I have that as just a little message on the same screen you send it from?

    You would need to use AJAX, which is javascripting put together with PHP. If a page refresh was OK, you could just use PHP. It would be easiest to redirect them to a different page, such as a thankyou page that you make. Right now, I think they get a blank white page with the "thank you message"?

    Create a new page called "thankyou.php" and then do a redirect ... (change the part of your script shown) ...

    // create email headers
    $headers = 'From: '.$email_from."\r\n".
    'Reply-To: '.$email_from."\r\n" .
    'X-Mailer: PHP/' . phpversion();
    if(mail($email_to, $email_subject, $email_message, $headers)){
    header("Location: thankyou.php");
    }
    else{
    echo "mail failed to send, contact owner.";
    }
    ?>
