What a php script is ran on a *nix server, does it have user, group or world access.

For example, if a folder is chmod'd 700, can a php script access it? What is it was chmod'd 770? 777?

    Thanks!

Alright thanks, I was thinking that.

But, if I give a folder 777 access, does it make it vunerable to hacker people? Does world-writable mean anyone can acctually write to it?
