    Hello All,

I have a few questions that I'd like to ask regarding PHP. The first is about its ability to connect to multiple databases. For a very complex reason I need to connect to an access database and a MySQL database. I know that it is possible to connect PHP to both of these, but is it possible to use php to get data for one part of a website from a MySQL database & data from another from an access one? I iomagine that this is a fairly straightforward process, but God only knows if it is (God or you fellas!).

Furthermore, I'd like to learn how to store images in a MySQL database & retrieve them. I'm going to store different images for my site. I'd like PHP to query the resolution of the user's screen (& the modem speed too, if possible) &, based on that, to dole out the most appropriately sized images. How would I go about doing this?

    Thanks for your help

Yeah, you have to connect to both, request some variables from one, then store them in a variable and you can query the other database with the info stored in the db.
