After looking round this forum all i seem to see are questions about how to get good places in Google. I thought i should provide this link to an amazing search engine http://www.exalead.com, really is good in my mind and i'm going to use change from google to this as it is a more accurate way of looking for results.
I know Google has more features and that but if you just want to look for sites without having a load of rubbish results coming up, this will be much better for you.
    Hope it helps

It's pretty cool, but the interface is hella complex compared to Google.

Why did you think these search engines are better than Google? I compared some search results and didn't see much difference.

For search purposes there probably are better engines out there but since almost every body uses Google, Yahoo and a couple of others it doesn't do a lot of good to be ranked high anywhere else. If your talking about being found by the casual user like a 12 yr old looking for help with his homework or constructin worker looking for sports score the odds are they're going to use which ever search engine shows up in their toolbar.
