    Hi,
I have a website with banner ads and a banner ad manager that shows me the IP addresses of every click on each banner ad. I have one IP address that is making 70% of the clicks and have searched and I think it is a clickbot. I have figured out how to block that IP but I want to know why this bot is coming to my website and clicking on all the banner ads so much. I would understand if I wanted to increase my pay-per-click revenue this way - which I don't! - but I don't see any reason to do this on my site. Why?
    Thanks!

    Maybe it's THEIR ad?

If it truly is a bot that is only designed to click ads (and if you didn't deploy it), then it could be somebody maliciously attempting to generate clicks falsely, thereby increasing the possibility that your ad provider could cancel your account due to what they see as an attempt to inflate your revenue. Google will close your Adsense account if they suspect that such a thing is happening.

On the other hand, it could just be a stupid web spider that sees the ad and keeps trying to index it for no reason.
