You can use a proxy site and/or change the language of google. Find a proxy that's located in the country you want. The proxy will have that country's IP address which will tell google by which language/region settings it's searching with(from what I know). But this may not be very effective because people can change those in google's settings. So can you.

    change the language of google.
thats a good question mines similar so thought id post here - for my campaign im aiming at visitors all over the world. however i think google shows me different ranks than the ones all over the world because im in the UK and it knows that (wow I sound clever)

is the way to 'switch' to global results? (probably just usa/english speaking countries) through googles language settings as youve said above?

Use advanced search link(next to the search form). If your search engine settings are set to English, it'll automatically search globally(and prefer English sites).

if you are using proxies then they will let you choose whichever country you want to be searched by using proper extension of google.co.**

Thanks Baniboy - I use Google.com, I suppose in that case I'd see American/English results
