Hi guys, I've changed my domain from reynolddigital.com to webdesignlondon123.com for the purposes of SEO. I have changed all links to the site, optimised onsite ok, but the Pagerank hasn't changed and no matter what I do the position on google hasn't changed from the old domain, just replaced the name. I've set up 301 redirect, maybe I just have to wait. Anyone else had this experience?

301 doesn't transfer your PR. It'll take time to get your new site listed well.

I suggest you keep the old domain and double-brand yourselves. reynolddigital.com is a much better name for your brand. wdl123 sounds a bit cheesy, though it's obviously good for seo.

reynoldsdigital.com is the one I give out as still goes to the site, yes, webdesignlondon123.com does sound crap, but hopefully I can change that back over later.

What I mean is get rid of the 301 redirect and build 2 sites.

Reynolds should be branded as reynolds

WDL should be branded as such, with different content, and links to reynolds to help build your page rank there.

I like the reynoldsdigital also. If you could of gotten webdesignlondon that would have been great. The 123 on the end makes it a little odd to me.

Once you've optimised your site, the position in the serps is down to backlinks, backlinks and more backlinks.
PR is not affected by onpage seo - just by backlinks.
