    SEO for new Website

    Hi All,

I just purchases a new small website Last Minute Holiday Deals, Cheap Flights and Hotels. It is a basic cookie cutter hotel and travel aggregate search site.

I have a new responsive design I am working on to get out of the basic template it currently has. But I am looking for any tips to increase the traffic and conversion aspect.

What should I be looking at first? any help much appreciated.

The first problem is that you are going up against the best travel sites in a very competitive industry. What can you do to differentiate yourself, create a different twist to this niche, and become unique in the industry. Not an easy task. Until you figure this out, SEO is the least of your problems.

For a new website that doesn't actually have much money to spend on SEO I would suggest starting from simplier things first. Of course it needs to have some quality content with some good related keywords and descriptions. Also to increase the visibility of your website you can participate in guest blogging as there are some sites that lets to post texts with some links in their sites. Another suggestion is to use SEO hosting as many companies offer it nowadays. Then it automatically will increase your SEO results of the website.

Dealing with a website's SEO could really be difficult. I had the same issues before but here I managed to gain new knowledge handling SEO's due to the fact it is somewhat technical if not yet encountered no tackled before.

Build your social networks and use them to share fresh, unique content you publish on a regular basis. I agree with Delstu's comment about finding a smaller travel niche and focus on longer tail keyword terms initially to see faster results. Also, are you list building with this site?
