How to get rid of porn spam on my site

I don't know how it happened but recently I have found redirects to porn sites appearing in my Google Analytics. They are not actual posts on my site but look like posts in the URL. I think Google has a way you can set up a filter but that just filters them out. I want to get rid of them altogether. The URL looks like this:
    www.[mysite]com/www.[pornsite.post12345]

Has anyone run across this and maybe has a solution? Do I need to contact my hosting company--Hostgator? I'm really hoping that I can get rid of these before it gets out of control. How does this even happen, anyway? Has my site been hacked?

What do you mean by "redirects to porn sites"? Do you mean porn sites sending you referral traffic or exits you've been tracking from your site and that lead to porn sites?

If someone's linking to your site, there is nothing you or your host can do about it. If you're sending traffic to other sites, you can.

Screen capture the Analytics report if you can and we can better see what's going on.

Hi Thegame1264. I think it's my site sending traffic to this porn site. I just don't know how the fake posts got there in the first place. I found it by accident in Google Analytics. I had a spike in traffic one day and looked to see what pages people were looking at. Here's a cropped screenshot below. Yesterday there were 3 posts. Today there are four. I'm worried that this will become a big problem. I've cleared cookies and cache.

I'm sorry...I'm having a hard time seeing that screen capture. What's the site? Maybe I can figure it out from there.

Nothing obvious jumps out from a hacking perspective. I don't see any references to "sex", never mind "sexyteens".

Maybe someone else will see something I don't, though.

Hey, thanks for checking. I'm glad to know that at least my site didn't get hacked. I have a filter in place but I think I might have to get in touch with my hosting provider to see what's up unless I see another explanation here.

Just so you don't get your hopes up, I doubt you'll get very far with HostGator. They don't do much when they're responsible for things, never mind when they think they aren't.

I'll call it in the air...they'll probably tell you that there's nothing wrong, but to update all of your passwords, your WP installation, and your plugins anyway.

Ha! Ha! I'm hoping you are wrong! I contacted Hostgator via Live Chat this morning. Seems that this is not an entirely unheard of problem. They opened a security ticket and will scan my site. In the meantime, I was advised to change the password on my site which I have done. I'll update this thread with the results.

In the list of users there are over 150 "subscribers." Could this be part of the problem? Can I delete all these subscribers? Is that a way of "getting in the back door" as they say? I changed that setting. You don't have to be a subscriber to post but the post has to be approved first.

I also found something ticked on my site in the Settings: "Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks). Would that also have an impact? I unticked it just to be safe.

Not on this. Pingbacks/trackbacks are when people link to your blog from another WP blog.

I don't see the subscribers being an issue as much as a symptom. They're probably subscribing to see if there's a back door somewhere in your site, whether it's an outdated copy of WP or a plugin or something else.

I hope I'm wrong on HostGator too, but past experience with me has taught me otherwise.
