I develop my whole website to be optimized for search in the same way for both desktop and mobile. I don't really give special treatment to either version for SEO.

When I make a mobile version, I try to take advantage of all of the possible hardware and software perks (eg: GPS or deep linking). These added UX bonuses (hopefully) make users want to stay longer, return, and/or share the website, intern upping my ranking for my target search audience.

Nowadays SEO more or less revolves around content. I primarily use similar, if not the same content on both mobile and desktop.

I'm hope this answers your questions.

These links might be useful, Valary. They talk about how Google uses a website being "mobile friendly" as a SEO signal, and Google provide an automated tool you can use to test your website too.
