Hello there, welcome to the forums! :)
Thanks for the resource :)
England here :)
IE, it has to be said :)
What are you actually asking for?
That's impressive, shame I couldn't do it lol
Haha, i'm not too sure. I'm a great wrestling fan though so i'll check your website out! I know allposters.com is supposed to be really good! :)
Ok, you're going to need a reasonable amount of webspace (500mb or more should be fine). You will also need bandwidth (the amount of data that can be transfered from your site) I would say 1-5gb...
captainmedia this isn't the place to offer your services!
I would strongly recommend lunarpages.com, they offer fantastic services and I have a few friends with them! :) On the other hand...
Yep, they look to be a reseller. They are using a template monster design. I wouldn't put my money with them unless someone can tell me otherwise!
So you signed up to tell us that? I would assume you either own that company or work for them. Please...
I wouldn't personally go with that host based on price or the above users comment until...
I've not been having that problem, sorry. Is there not an ICQ help forum or channel? :)
My advice, keep it simple. It doesn't need to be anything OTT. A nice typography can do wonders! I would also make it so it's vector format (illustrator) often logos need to be resized.
Photoshop can do everything fireworks can do, and more. :)
That's actually a really bad light sabre example. You need to draw the line out first, then add glow effects and play with the settings, probably add some blur in as well on a duplicated layer.
Technically if she only wants to change images then you don't. You could provide her with the sliced .psd and give her information regarding the ftp. All she would need to do is have some very basic...
Again, i'm having problems with this. I prefer the original tbh. The colours in the header really brighten the site up (in the old one) you have killed it by using a dark header that doesn't mix well...
Looks great to me, nice colours that flow perfect with each other. Very easy to navigate and loads fairly fast in my browser. Nothing more than needs to be done or improved. I'm not a fan of "splash"...
Hey there, I don't see any real structure to the site. You need to define your content areas and work from there as a starting point!
I dislike the dropshadow on the title text, very ugly imo....
Erm, it took AGES to load! I'm on 4mbit and it took a good 10 seconds. I'm not sure why you think you can offer design services when you can't design (sorry to be so blunt) get a good book, browse...
I actually prefered the old site, not sure what advice they gave you? The red background was a tad harsh on the eyes though!
You need to define the content area more, don't keep the white bg, use...
Yeah, a CMS is the way to go! Checkout www.hotscripts.com for a wide range of other scripts :)
Yeah, I think the whole hip-hop music would go pretty well but it's a small niche market. Go with the classical stuff, watch some movies for inspiration :)
