Just wondering if anyone uses them? I already know they're pretty good, as WDF is hosted with them, I'd just like any other opinions that are out there. Just looking for some stable web space, and I've never used CPanel, so I'd like to mess with that as well. The web space will be used just to mess around with, no real requirements.

Anyone know if with them (or any other host for that matter) can you create/edit html/php pages in a web based interface? I'm fully aware that it won't error check or anything like a real web page editor will. Basically I'd like something where I can work or edit pages away from home. I could code a basic one, but I'm too lazy and it's not that big of a deal.

I'm satisfied with them. They recently increased the specs of my plan again at no cost.

They have an applet-based SSH client in which you could open pico and edit the HTML file. Not perfect, but it works.

If nothing else you could install net2ftp or if you dont want to do that you could use their website to transfer your images.

Wow glyakk, that looks awesome! That shows that you can edit pre-existing files, but can you create them as well? If so, that's PERFECT! Dunno if Hosting Matters (or any other host for that matter) would allow an FTP program on the site, as they already provide one.

Actually, for HTML WYSIWYG editing, it looks like they're using this: http://www.interactivetools.com/prod...rea/index.html

However, it looks like a CGI script is needed to save it to the site. Basically I'd love to edit PHP code from PCs other than my home one, but want to only use a browser, no special ports, etc. Perhaps there's a CMS that would allow me to do this?

I'm pretty curious too, so on that same note, what are some of the better CMS out there?
