    Hi,

Up til now i've always used a UK webhost. For various reason i'm looking for a new host and I was wondering whether i should be including US companies in my search? What impact will it have?

for the record, i'm after PHP, mySQL, with a resonable bandwidth limit (nothing crazy)

    Thanks

I'd recomend www.dreamhost.com or www.mediatemple.com. Some of the more popular web designers and bloggers use one of these hosts.

I have my own reseller account from a US host (I'm in the UK).

It won't make any difference whether your site is in the UK or in the US. What's most important is the hosts reliablility.
