I'm looking for a cheap (but good/fast/reliable) host just for a mySQL database. I'm happy with my host but for some reason they have a 100mb cap on their mySQL databases and my forums are about to outgrow that.

I'd like to get a hosting plan with unlimited mySQL space with a decent amount of bandwidth for around $4/mo. Anybody know where I can find something like this?

$4 a month!? You not going to find much for that.... From my experience, rather shell out a couple bucks extra (say $9pm) and get yourself decent hosting that will give you all the bandwidth / space you need. Not to mention support.

    I fully recommend Dreamhost.

    20GB space
    1TB bandwith
    unlimited domains etc
    .... the list goes on...

This site's host, http://www.hostmatters.com/ , doesn't cap the MySQL database size. However, it's way out of your price range...but worth the extra cost over worthless cheap hosts.

My host http://ukwsd.co.uk has a deal for around 25 for the year, so about.. 40-50 bucks.. which is about $4 a month.

That deal comes with 100 mb, but you can buy extra 100 mb's for like $2.

Have you considered contacting your current host in regards to upping your MySQL Database size limit?
