I was wondering if there was a way to provide image hosting within your website so users could log in and upload images onto your site so others would be able to view them??

There's a ton of freely available php, asp, etc... scripts available that will do what you're asking... Just make sure you have the bandwidth available to host such a service as it can go faaast.

Did you store the images directly in MySQL or just the filenames (out of pure curiosity :-))

Just the filenames The images are uploaded just to a folder and their paths asre stored in the varchar field.

I know of the cons of storing images in databases..

Come to think of it, my domian for mentioned link is nearly up!
