    hey,

i've followed all the steps (i think anyway) in the tutorial here but still can't get it working.

I did have apache running but without php5 then when i installed it apache kept on shutting down with the windows mesage 'the program had to close there has been and error ..... send error report .... blah blah'

so i re-installed apache and php5 but apache can't seem to find my php5apache2.dll

i get and error message like

cannot load c:/Program Files/php/php5apache2.dll specific module cannot be found.

I can see that the file is located there. have altered the php.ini file etc but i can solve it... close to tears herehelp:thumbsup:

In your httpd.conf file do you have this?

    Code:
    LoadModule php5_module "c:/php5/php5apache2.dll"
    AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .php
    # configure the path to php.ini
    PHPIniDir "c:/php5"
Similar to that anyway? Theres so many ways to do things in apache/php/mysql bundles, drives me mad.

    yep, i've got this

    Code:
    LoadModule php5_module "c:/Program Files/php/php5apache2.dll"
    AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
    AddType application/x-httpd-php .php-source .phps
    # configure the path to php.ini
    PHPIniDir "c:/Program Files/php"
seems to point to the right direction but still not working. i've gone and set my PATH as well and no joy:cry:
