    Just tell me which company it is if its godaddy they do it free of charge I run 3 servers. I think I know what he means.

    Login to Godaddy than the domain your going to use click domain details. Now scroll down to the bottom you should see name server setup. Right below that is to create your own name servers. You just need to point it to a static ip like your dedicated server ip box. Make sure your namerserver name is ns or ns1. or ns2. Also make sure you have 2 domain name servers created. ns1.youdomain.com ns2.domain.com . After that go back and setup your name servers to the ones you just created. That should be it.     Here Sonic...there is a list of many free DNS Providers and for pay as well. Click on the list at the top or read about DNS as you scroll to the list. This site is put together by one guy - I don't have any connection- just found it when searching. I think it is good for the 'little' guy who needs simple DNS solutions.
