I am looking for a run of the mill hosting package that has ASP.NET enabled.

At work I will soon be working on some projects using this technology so I want to get a handle on things.

It will not be used as a "live" website, merely just a place for me to test scripts that I write. It will need to have database though.

    Any suggestions?

Doesn't XP Professional come with ASP.NET automatically installed?

Can you not just start a webserver on your work PC?

    Cheaper than hosting...

    Perhaps, I am not sure.

However I would rather learn and develop using a web server, as that is what I will be using through work.

Money is (not much of one anyway) no object.
