Ok, i'm freakin' out here.... i have a ghost in my Ubuntu box! I completely removed Apache... as somehow, I had 2 installations of it and I want to reinstall it... but there is one that keeps loading and pointing my server to /var/www

I manually removed every singel apache file from ubuntu. I do http://localhost

    and up pops:

    Index of /
[ICO] Name Last modified Size Description

Apache/2.2.8 (Ubuntu) Server at localhost Port 80
i tried installing it, uninstalling it... nothing

i tried sudo apt-get install apache2 and the sudo apt-get remove apache2 as well as sudo apt-get remove apache2-common

... and STILL... something is giving me a directory structure and alerting me to the fact that Apache is running on port 80! HELP! :Ogre:
