    I recently found this about chaing URL style from "site.com/script.php?name=category1" to this "site.com/script/category1
    (another example is hotscripts.com )
    is it easy or hard to be done ? I couldnt understand much of the documentation apache gives.. :cry:

    You will need mod_rewrite turned on in apache, it usually is but some hosts disable it.
    Add the following to your root directory in a file called .htaccess:

    RewriteEngine on

    RewriteRule ^script/([A-Za-z0-9]*)$ script.php?name=$1
